Best for: First big trips and households that finally want matching luggage.
Platinum® Elite Carry-On / Medium / Large Set includes each piece named in the title as a separate bag. See the Dimensions section below for the size and weight of each piece.
The carry-on is the cabin piece in this set, while larger pieces travel as checked bags. Carry-on limits vary by airline, so check yours before you fly. If you are matching the carry-on against a specific airline, check the airline's published limit; our airline luggage size chart covers the major U.S. carriers, and our guides for Air Canada and WestJet cover the Canadian ones.
Yes. The zippered expansion adds extra packing depth, and a fully expanded bag may not fit a strict airline sizer. If your airline enforces its sizer, board with the bag unexpanded and save the expansion for the trip home or checked segments.
Start at our Customer Service Center, where you can register your bag, file a warranty claim, and request replacement parts. If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Full coverage details are on the warranty information page, and common fixes you can do yourself are in our luggage repair guide.
Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.
This product is covered by the Platinum® Elite Built for a Lifetime Limited Warranty, plus our 30-day return policy. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.
