Frequently Asked Questions
What are the exact dimensions?
It measures 41 x 34 x 20 cm (16 x 13.5 x 7.75 in.). It weighs 1.4 kg (3 lb) and holds 20 litres.
Can I bring this on the plane in addition to a carry-on?
At 41 x 34 x 20 cm, it is larger than the published personal-item limits of Air Canada and Porter (43 x 33 x 16 cm) and WestJet (41 x 33 x 15 cm), so those airlines may count it as your carry-on rather than your personal item. Check your airline's personal-item rules before you fly. Our guides for Air Canada and WestJet list published limits for the Canadian carriers.
How much does it hold?
The listed capacity is 20 litres at 1.4 kg (3 lb) empty.
Will it fit my laptop?
Yes, the padded sleeve fits laptops up to 16 inches. That covers virtually every mainstream laptop: the 16-inch MacBook Pro, MacBook Air 13 and 15, Dell XPS up to the XPS 16, Microsoft Surface Laptop, and 14 to 16 inch ThinkPad models, plus anything smaller. Screen size is the guide; a slim sleeve or case on the laptop usually still fits.
Does it have RFID protection?
Yes. The ID TheftBlock™ pocket is RFID-blocking, shielding passports and cards from wireless skimming while you travel.
How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?
Start at our Customer Service Center, where you can register your bag, file a warranty claim, and request replacement parts. If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Full coverage details are on the warranty information page, and common fixes you can do yourself are in our luggage repair guide.
How do I clean and care for it?
Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.
What warranty does this come with?
This product is covered by the Altitude™ Warranty, plus our 30-day return policy. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

Great slim backpack. Not bulky.
"Great slim backpack. Not bulky. Looks great. There is a space for everything. And love the color."
Great everyday office backpack that
"Great everyday office backpack that doubles as a smart travel companion for lighter trips. The build quality is top notch, with thoughtfully engineered pockets that make it easy to stay organized as a traveling professional. The compartments are well thought out. It runs a little smaller than I expected, but after three trips, it's proven itself — perfect for flights where you don't need to pack a ton. Ideal if you want one bag that handles both the office commute and quick getaways."

"This is an excellent quality laptop bag with thoughtfully designed features. The computer and tablet pocket is well padded. I got the blue and black one when I got the matching colors compact hardside roller, and they work quite well together when loaded."

"I was looking for a backpack that would fit under the airplane seat and have easy access . Just what I was looking for."
The perfect backpack
"I cannot say enough good things about this bag. It’s comfortable, stylish, and extremely well thought out. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Just buy it already"
Tipping frustration. Zipper pucker.
"Thinking about getting my money back for this. I’m glad I have about 50 more days. I’m very dissatisfied with the fact that it will not set up without tipping over forward. It has fallen all the way to Ground a couple of times. Very frustrating. Also, the zipper for the laptop is puckered so that it’s quite difficult to zip up."
