Will this fit under an airline seat?

It is designed to: the case is 38.7 x 33 x 20.3 cm (15.25 x 13 x 8 in.) (44.5 x 36.8 x 21.6 cm (17.5 x 14.5 x 8.5 in.) overall including wheels and handle). Overall, that is larger than the published personal-item limits of Air Canada and Porter (43 x 33 x 16 cm) and WestJet (41 x 33 x 15 cm), so check your airline's rules before you fly. Underseat clearance varies by aircraft and seat position, bulkhead and some window seats have less room, so on smaller regional aircraft it may need the overhead bin instead.

Do the listed dimensions include wheels and handles?

We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 38.7 x 33.02 x 20.3 cm (15.25 x 13 x 8 in.). The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 44.5 x 36.83 x 21.6 cm (17.5 x 14.5 x 8.5 in.). When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Does this count as my carry-on or my personal item?

It is designed for the personal-item role (the bag that goes under the seat), which can let you bring a full-size carry-on too. It is larger than the published personal-item limits of Air Canada and Porter (43 x 33 x 16 cm) and WestJet (41 x 33 x 15 cm), so check your carrier. How much fits in 26 litres?

Realistically 1-2 days of clothes plus the day kit: laptop or tablet in the padded sleeve, toiletries in the removable wet pocket, and chargers or documents in the front organizer. It is an underseat bag, weekender, and seat-side office in one, at 2.5 kg (5.5 lb) empty.

Can I attach it to my other luggage?

Yes: a rear strap slides over the extension handle of any Rollaboard® or spinner, so it rides stacked on top of your bigger bag through the airport, hands-free.

How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

Start at our Customer Service Center, where you can register your bag, file a warranty claim, and request replacement parts. If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. How do I clean and care for it?

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.

"The carry on itself is fabulous. Easy to use, all the right pieces to make it a #1 essential. The trolley strap on the back is close to worthless. It has VERY little give and takes too much effort to get it over the handle of the Travel Pro Platinum Elite(which is a fabulous suitcase!!) Then, when you need to remove it from riding on top of the suitcase it is a mini gymnastics routine-it has to be tilted just so-WAY TOO MUCH EFFORT to use it when I am taking another suitcase along. SO disappointed. I love Travel Pro but this trolley strap has totally frustrated me. No thank you."

Good bag - don't use it as a P/I on Flair

"I can confirm Flair will not allow this bag as a personal item due to the structure of it. I just recently flew Flair from Waterloo to Nova Scotia and decided to take a chance with this bag. . . . no luck. . . cost me $175 as a carry on round trip. My son used my Osprey Daylite 26+6 which looks just as big, but because it was a soft backpack, they accepted it as a personal item."

Feather light feel even with

"Feather light feel even with the telescoping handle. Bought this for carry-on underseat use, because I need wheels at this point in my life. Capacity as I expected for the size with the option to remove the hanging toiletries pouch-- removing it makes the bag weigh even less. Not sure yet If I will use it. Overall, I am very happy at the light weight when every pound makes a difference. The only sort of negative is the trolley strap sits high and if this is stacked on my other suitcase using the trollet sleeve it barely overlaps the handle on my spinner. I knew this before buying, so it was expected. I think best use is as the wheeled bag with a tote or bag with trolley sleeve on top. Overall, a beautiful. bag that doesn't tip forward when I filled it. That is a great feature!. I would definitely buy this again!"
