Best for: Weekly road warriors who live out of the bin, and anyone tired of waiting at the carousel.
We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 52.7 x 34.9 x 22.9 cm (20.75 x 13.75 x 9 in.). The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 58.4 x 36.8 x 24.1 cm (23 x 14.5 x 9.5 in.). When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.
Its overall height (58.4 cm / 23 in.) is above the published carry-on limits of the Canadian airlines below, so it may not fit a strict airline sizer. Carry-on limits vary by airline, so compare the overall dimensions (58.4 x 36.8 x 24.1 cm (23 x 14.5 x 9.5 in.)) against yours before you fly:
| Airline | Published carry-on limit |
|---|---|
| Air Canada | 55 x 40 x 23 cm (21.5 x 15.5 x 9 in.) |
| WestJet | 56 x 36 x 23 cm (22 x 14 x 9 in.) |
| Air Transat | 55 x 40 x 23 cm (21.5 x 15.5 x 9 in.) |
Regional jets have smaller bins, so expect to gate-check on those flights regardless of brand. And every bag is covered by our 30-day return policy.
Yes. The zippered expansion adds extra packing depth, and a fully expanded bag may not fit a strict airline sizer. If your airline enforces its sizer, board with the bag unexpanded and save the expansion for the trip home or checked segments.
Yes. The exterior fabric has a DuraGuard® coating that resists water and stains, so it holds up to rainy sidewalks and daily wear.
Start at our Customer Service Center, where you can register your bag, file a warranty claim, and request replacement parts. If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Full coverage details are on the warranty information page, and common fixes you can do yourself are in our luggage repair guide.
Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.
