We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 69.9 x 47 x 30.5 cm (27.5 x 18.5 x 12 in.). The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 77.5 x 49.5 x 30.5 cm (30.5 x 19.5 x 12 in.). When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.
How big is this bag in linear dimensions, and will I owe oversize fees?
Linear dimensions are height + width + depth added together. This bag measures 147.3 cm (58 linear inches) by case dimensions and 157.5 cm (62 linear inches) including wheels and handles. How much can I pack before hitting airline weight limits?

Does the expansion matter on a checked bag?
Expansion adds packing depth, which also adds to the bag's linear inches and invites heavier packing. If you are near your airline's size or weight limit, measure and weigh the bag expanded, the way it will actually fly.
How do I set the TSA lock combination?
The lock ships set to 0-0-0. To set your own code: turn the dials to 0-0-0, remove the zipper pullers from the lock, press the reset button on the side of the lock with a pen until it clicks, choose your combination, then press or slide the release button. How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?
Start at our Customer Service Center, where you can register your bag, file a warranty claim, and request replacement parts. If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. How do I clean and care for it?
Combine mild soap and water, apply with a soft cloth, gently rub until clean, rinse well, and let the bag air dry completely before storing. Surface scuffs on hardside shells are cosmetic and do not affect performance; store the bag in its provided fabric cover when not in use.
