Will this fit under an airline seat?

It is designed to: it measures 25.4 x 41.3 x 22.9 cm (10 x 16.25 x 9 in.). That is larger than the published personal-item limits of Air Canada and Porter (43 x 33 x 16 cm) and WestJet (41 x 33 x 15 cm), so check your airline's rules before you fly. Underseat clearance varies by aircraft and seat position, so bulkhead rows and smaller regional aircraft may require the overhead bin instead.

What are the exact dimensions?

It measures 25.4 x 41.3 x 22.9 cm (10 x 16.25 x 9 in.). It weighs 0.7 kg (1.6 lb) and holds 25 litres.

Does this count as my carry-on or my personal item?

It is designed for the personal-item role (the bag that goes under the seat), which can let you bring a full-size carry-on too. It is larger than the published personal-item limits of Air Canada and Porter (43 x 33 x 16 cm) and WestJet (41 x 33 x 15 cm), so check your carrier. Our guides for Air Canada and WestJet list published limits for the Canadian carriers.

Is it water resistant?

Yes. The exterior fabric has a DuraGuard® coating that resists water and stains, so it holds up to rainy sidewalks and daily wear.

How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

Start at our Customer Service Center, where you can register your bag, file a warranty claim, and request replacement parts. If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Full coverage details are on the warranty information page, and common fixes you can do yourself are in our luggage repair guide.

How do I clean and care for it?

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.

What warranty does this come with?

Travelpro products are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. See our warranty information page for the coverage that applies to this collection, plus our 30-day return policy.

Tote

"Could be stiffer construction"

— Cindy D. (4/5)

Classic tote

"Just back from my first flight using this tote. Generally very pleased. Quite roomy. Light coloured interior makes it easy to find items. Only concern is with my iPad in the front zipped section the whole bag tends to sag forward when using the handle sleeve to secure it to my roller bag. If I slip one of the tote handles over the pull handle of my suitcase this issue is solved."

— Hilary P. (4/5)

Excellent Quality

"The quality of Travelpro products is amazing as is their guarantee. This bag is a great choice for carry on and holds more than you think."

Perfect for traveling

"I really like my new bag. I was using a back pack for my personal item when travelling. This bag can be put on my carryon handle and will fit under the seat perfectly. I really like the ease of accessing the contents of my bag and there are several pockets. My husband has a travelpro bag and really likes it. So I thought it was time for me to have one too"
