"This is a beautiful bag and it rolls effortlessly through airports. It seems durable and well made. The metal corners add to its durability and make it extra attractive. That said, we will not be keeping this bag because it is exceptionally deep at ~13". This did not seem like a big issue when we placed the order because we have other luggage that is 11" deep and that didn't seem like a major difference. It turns out a couple of extra inches makes the bag significantly more difficult to maneuver up and down stairs and it can also make it more difficult to store in the trunk of a car. If this bag was 11" deep in its unexpanded state, I would keep it and it would be my favourite piece of luggage."
