We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 63.5 x 45.7 x 28.5 cm (25 x 18 x 11.25 in.). The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 71.12 x 46.9 x 29.8 cm (28 x 18.5 x 11.75 in.). When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.
Linear dimensions are height + width + depth added together. This bag measures 137.7 cm (54.25 linear inches) by case dimensions and 147.8 cm (58.25 linear inches) including wheels and handles. Expansion adds packing depth, which also adds to the bag's linear inches and invites heavier packing. If you are near your airline's size or weight limit, measure and weigh the bag expanded, the way it will actually fly.

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.
