Platinum® Elite Medium Check-In Spinner - Camouflage

We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 63.5 x 45.7 x 28.58 cm (25 x 18 x 11.25 in.). The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 71.2 x 47 x 29.8 cm (28 x 18.5 x 11.75 in.). When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Linear dimensions are height + width + depth added together. This bag measures 137.8 cm (54.25 linear inches) by case dimensions and 148 cm (58.25 linear inches) including wheels and handles. The standard checked-bag limit on most airlines is 158 cm (62 linear inches). This bag sits within that limit. More detail in our luggage size and weight guide.

Most airlines cap checked bags at 23 kg (50 lb). This bag weighs 4.4 kg (9.8 lb) empty, which leaves about 18.6 kg of packing before standard overweight fees. A luggage scale is a good companion for long trips.

Expansion adds packing depth, which also adds to the bag's linear inches and invites heavier packing. If you are near your airline's size or weight limit, measure and weigh the bag expanded, the way it will actually fly.

Start at our Customer Service Center, where you can register your bag, file a warranty claim, and request replacement parts. If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Full coverage details are on the warranty information page, and common fixes you can do yourself are in our luggage repair guide.

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.
