Frequently Asked Questions
Do the listed dimensions include wheels and handles?
We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 63.5 x 45.7 x 28.5 cm (25 x 18 x 11.25 in.). The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 71.12 x 46.9 x 29.8 cm (28 x 18.5 x 11.75 in.). When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.
How big is this bag in linear dimensions, and will I owe oversize fees?
Linear dimensions are height + width + depth added together. This bag measures 137.7 cm (54.25 linear inches) by case dimensions and 147.8 cm (58.25 linear inches) including wheels and handles. The standard checked-bag limit on most airlines is 158 cm (62 linear inches). This bag sits within that limit. More detail in our luggage size and weight guide.
How much can I pack before hitting airline weight limits?
Most airlines cap checked bags at 23 kg (50 lb). This bag weighs 4.4 kg (9.8 lb) empty, which leaves about 18.6 kg of packing before standard overweight fees. A luggage scale is a good companion for long trips.
Does the expansion matter on a checked bag?
Expansion adds packing depth, which also adds to the bag's linear inches and invites heavier packing. If you are near your airline's size or weight limit, measure and weigh the bag expanded, the way it will actually fly.
How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?
Start at our Customer Service Center, where you can register your bag, file a warranty claim, and request replacement parts. If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Full coverage details are on the warranty information page, and common fixes you can do yourself are in our luggage repair guide.
How do I clean and care for it?
Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.

Great lightweight suitcase.
"Great lightweight suitcase."
Love this suitcase for it
"Love this suitcase for it one big compartment feature, suit hanger compartment and overall ease of use. Wheels are a delight. Can’t wait to get a larger version of this suitcase."
We have not used the
"We have not used the new luggage; however, I have owned several TP carry on bags and backpacks. They last a long time and are a pleasure to use. This is my first four wheel spinner luggage and I'm anxious to see how it works. Our next big trip will last 29 days which is why we purchased new TP luggage. It lasts and makes travel more enjoyable. Kudos to TP for communicating at each step of the purchase, and for the follow up."

"Love the bag, but literally, first use on a Southwest Airlines flight and the handle does not want to pull out as smoothly as it initially did, so not sure whether to be more disappointed in the bag or SW!"
