We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 48.3 x 38.1 x 19.6 cm (19 x 15 x 7.75 in.). The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 55.2 x 40 x 19.6 cm (21.75 x 15.75 x 7.75 in.). When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.
Will this carry-on fit my airline's size limits?
It is sized to meet the 55 x 40 x 23 cm (21.5 x 15.5 x 9 in.) carry-on limit of Air Canada, Porter, Flair and Air Transat. At 40 cm (15.75 in.) wide, it is wider than WestJet's 36 cm (14 in.) limit. Who is the International Carry-On for?
Travellers who mostly fly airlines with shorter carry-on height limits, such as the 55 cm (21.5 in.) limit of Air Canada, Porter, Flair and Air Transat, and limits common across Europe and Asia. At 55.2 cm (21.75 in.) overall height it is sized for those limits, which the taller standard Carry-On Spinner can exceed. Note the shape trade-off: it is shorter but slightly wider (40 cm (15.75 in.) overall), not smaller in every direction, so check width-sensitive carriers too.
Will it also work for flights within North America?
For many flights, yes. It is sized to meet the 55 x 40 x 23 cm (21.5 x 15.5 x 9 in.) carry-on limit of Air Canada, Porter, Flair and Air Transat, so one bag can cover international and Canadian flying on those airlines. At 40 cm (15.75 in.) wide, it is wider than WestJet's 36 cm (14 in.) limit, so check your airline before you fly. Does expanding the bag change whether it fits airline sizers?
Yes. The zippered expansion adds about 5.1 cm (2 in.) of packing depth, and a fully expanded bag may not fit a strict airline sizer. If your airline enforces its sizer, board with the bag unexpanded and save the expansion for the trip home or checked segments.
How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

How do I clean and care for it?
Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.
