Travelpro® Platinum® Elite Carry-On Spinner - Camouflage

We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 53.3 x 35.6 x 22.9 cm (21 x 14 x 9 in.). The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 59.7 x 36.8 x 22.9 cm (23.5 x 14.5 x 9 in.). When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Its overall height (59.7 cm / 23.5 in.) is above the published carry-on limits of the Canadian airlines below, so it may not fit a strict airline sizer. Carry-on limits vary by airline, so compare the overall dimensions (59.7 x 36.8 x 22.9 cm (23.5 x 14.5 x 9 in.)) against yours before you fly:

Regional jets have smaller bins, so expect to gate-check on those flights regardless of brand. And every bag is covered by our 30-day return policy.

A common mix-up: the International is not simply "smaller": it is shorter but wider than the Carry-On. If your airline enforces a strict limit, such as WestJet's 56 x 36 x 23 cm (22 x 14 x 9 in.) or Air Canada's 55 x 40 x 23 cm (21.5 x 15.5 x 9 in.), compare each model's overall dimensions to that limit.

Yes. The zippered expansion adds about 5.1 cm (2 in.) of packing depth, and a fully expanded bag may not fit a strict airline sizer. If your airline enforces its sizer, board with the bag unexpanded and save the expansion for the trip home or checked segments.

The tapered expansion design adds up to 5.1 cm (2 in.) of additional packing capacity. The tapered shape keeps the centre of gravity low to help prevent the spinner from tipping when expanded.

The Platinum Elite 21" Spinner is designed for short to medium-length trips. Customer reviews on the product confirm it works well for both short and longer trips when paired with the expansion feature.

Yes. The Platinum Elite Carry-On includes a drop-in, fold-out suiter that helps keep clothes wrinkle-free during travel. The suiter also doubles as a removable garment bag.

The carry-on uses Travelpro's PrecisionGlide System with eight MagnaTrac self-aligning, 360-degree spinner wheels, guided by an adjustable PowerScope extension handle with a Contour Grip and rubberized touch points.

The PowerScope airline-grade aluminum extension handle minimizes wobble and has four height stops at 36", 38", 40", and 42.5" to accommodate users of different heights.

Yes. It has external USB-A and USB-C ports wired to a dedicated power-bank pocket. Bring your own power bank (not included), drop it in the pocket, and charge without opening the bag. CATSA advises keeping power banks with you in the cabin, not in checked baggage or the overhead bin, and some airlines limit their use on board, so check with your airline.

Yes. The removable quart-size wet pocket is TSA compliant and built to store and retrieve toiletries quickly while travelling through security or at your destination. At Canadian airports, CATSA asks for liquids in containers of 100 ml or less, all in one clear, resealable plastic bag of no more than 1 L.

Yes. The high-density nylon fabric features a DuraGuard coating that resists stains, abrasions, and moisture, so the spinner stays looking great through frequent travel.

Start at our Customer Service Center, where you can register your bag, file a warranty claim, and request replacement parts. Full coverage details are on the warranty information page, and common fixes you can do yourself are in our luggage repair guide.

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.
